UK Visitor Visa
The UK Visitor Visa permits individuals from outside the European Economic Area and other countries to visit the UK for a duration of up to six months.
When planning a visit to the United Kingdom, individuals must obtain permission to do so, either in the form of a UK Visitor Visa or Leave to Enter the UK. While a visitor visa must be applied for before traveling to the UK, Leave to Enter can be obtained at the UK port of entry. Whether a person requires a UK Visitor Visa is determined by their status as a visa national or not.
Falcon Immigration advises non-visa nationals, particularly those previously denied a UK Visitor Visa or entry at a UK port of entry, to apply for a UK Visitor Visa before traveling to the UK.
Permissible Activities on a UK Visitor Visa:
Holidaying in the UK
Visiting family or friends
Business purposes
Participating in sports or creative events
Receiving private medical treatment
Studying for up to 30 days, provided it is not the primary reason for the visit
Under 18s may take part in exchange programs or educational visits
